Why should I choose online phone cards?
Residential phone service providers and stores that are selling prepaid phone cards usually offer much higher international and domestic rates than phone cards online.
-
What benefits do online phone cards have?
You can easily compare phone card rates and choose the perfect one.
Your PIN number and Access number will be received at once.
You can control your phone account.
You can refill your phone card online at anytime (for refillable phone cards).
-
How do use these cards?
To make a phone call you dial Toll Free Access Number or Local Access Number, wait for prompt. Then enter your PIN number and dial the Destination number. (Note: you don't have to dial the PIN number if you call from a registered phone!)
- What kinds of calling cards can I find?
Non-refillable phone card. This card can be used till there is balance or till it is expired (it usually has 3-4 months expiration period);
Refillable phone card. This card offers the following features:
Refill Option: You can refill your card account at anytime in the internet or over the phone call.
Permanent PIN: A PIN number you received is your card's permanent number. Add money to the same PIN to refill the balance.
PIN-Free Access: You can register your phone number to dial without PIN. You needn't enter your PIN when dialing from your registered phone.
Transfer the balance: You can transfer money from your refillable card account to any other refillable card.
- How to find the best rate?
Fill in the destination search window (the country you'll call FROM and TO) and indicate if you'll call TO a mobile/cell phone. The lowest rates you'll find on the top of page, the available amount of minutes is shown beside the card.
- How to find the right card?
Choose a card with no connection fee and low rounding if:
you usually place short phone calls,
you are not sure the person you are calling will answer,
an answering machine may answer.
Choose a card with no maintenance fee if you need a card with a long expiration period for infrequent use.
Choose a card with a low pay-phone surcharge if you will call from payphone.
*Note: Read all card's details before purchasing a phone card, especially when buying a card with an ultra low rate!
- What payments I will make while using the phone cards?
Connection Fee
- This payment is deducted from phone card's balance when the connection is established. Connection fee decreases the fixed number of minutes on the phone card.
Service Taxes and Surcharges
- These taxes may be taken from the phone card's balance for every phone call you made. The taxes for our phone cards vary from 0% to 15%. If you bought a card with the rate 10 c/min, the tax is 10% the minute of talk time will cost 11 cents.
Maintenance Fee
- The fee that applies to the phone card's balance by the phone card providers if there is balance on the card. This fee is not charged on your credit card. Maintenance Fees usually start charging within 24 hours after the finishing of first phone call, and usually deducted by midnight (the Eastern Standard time).
Rounding
- This unit applies to determine the phone call duration. The standard minute rounding for prepaid phone cards is one minute, but there are also two and three minutes rounding phone cards.
Pay-Phone Surcharge - It is a surcharge that is deducted from the phone card's balance when you call from a payphone.
*Note: Pay attention to the card's details, when choosing a phone card. The information is above the phone card.
